How Do I Uninstall My Toolbar?

Any of the AddOnReviews toolbars can be easily removed from your computer. Please find your browser below and follow the instructions to uninstall a toolbar.

Windows XP – Internet Explorer or Firefox

  1. From your computer’s Start button, select Settings, then Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on Add/ Remove Programs.
  3. Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer. The name will match what is displayed on your browser. (For example: WeatherBlink, MapsGalaxy)
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Restart your computer. The toolbar will not be completely removed until the computer is rebooted.

Windows XP – Google Chrome

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Select Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select the extension name you are trying to remove.
  4. Click Change/ Remove.
  5. Select Yes when prompted to remove the extension.
  6. Restart Google Chrome.

Windows Vista – Internet Explorer or Firefox

  1. From your computer’s Start button, select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on Programs and Features.
  3. Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer. The name will match what is displayed on your browser. (For example: WeatherBlink, MapsGalaxy)
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Restart your computer. The toolbar will not be completely removed until the computer is rebooted.

Windows Vista – Google Chrome

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Under Programs, select Uninstall a Program.
  3. Double-click the extension name you are trying to remove.
  4. Select Continue on the User Account Control screen.
  5. Select Yes when prompted to remove the extension.
  6. Restart Google Chrome.

Windows 7 – Internet Explorer or Firefox

  1. From your computer’s Start button, select Control Panel.
  2. Click the Uninstall a Program option found under the Programs category.
  3. Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer. The name will match what is displayed on your browser. (For example: WeatherBlink, MapsGalaxy)
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Restart your computer. The toolbar will not be completely removed until the computer is rebooted.

Windows 7 – Google Chrome

  1. Open Windows Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Double-click the extension name you are trying to remove.
  4. Select Yes when prompted to remove the extension.
  5. Restart Google Chrome.

Windows 8 – Internet Explorer or Firefox

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen using your mouse (or finger for touchscreen displays), and then click Search.
  2. Enter Uninstall in the search box and then click the Settings category below the search box.
  3. Click Uninstall a Program from list on the left side of the screen.Uninstall_W8_1
  4. From the Programs and Features dialog box that opens, select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer. The name will match what is displayed on your browser (For example: WeatherBlink, MapsGalaxy)
  5. Click Uninstall.
  6. Restart your computer. The toolbar will not be completely removed until the computer is rebooted.

Windows 8 – Google Chrome

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then click Search.
  2. Enter Uninstall in the search box and then click the Settings category below the search box.

Safari

  1. At the top of your browser, select Safari from the menu bar.
  2. Select Preferences from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the Extensions tab.
  4. Highlight the Toolbar name you are trying to remove.
  5. Click the Uninstall button.
  6. Restart your browser. The toolbar will not be completely removed until a new Safari session is opened.
